Bags of style
The new style-section at Lakeland Bowness, that's dedicated entirely to the famous, sought-after Radley Bags.
The new style-section at Lakeland Bowness, that's dedicated entirely to the famous, sought-after Radley Bags.

Having just reopened its newly-refurbished store in Bowness, Lakeland are busier than ever it seems, as shoppers are attracted to the fabulous face-lift that has been carried out over the past few weeks.

Real wood floors and light airy ceilings open up the ground floor, making it seem larger than ever. The new collections of men's and women's wear sit beautifully on the contemporary rails and I could not help noticing the fabulous areas dedicated to so many fabulous handbags.

The ever-popular and much sought after Radley bags now have pride of place in the centre of the store, with further shelves of handbags and luggage brightening up other areas.

There must be hundreds of gorgeous bags to choose from, not only from designer labels such as Fiorelli and Hidesign, but also of course, from Lakeland's own in-house leather designers.

Lakeland's Cumbrian stores are at: Lake Road, Bowness; 7 Market Cross, Ambleside; 24 Stricklandgate, Kendal; Lake Road, Keswick; and 11 English Street, Carlisle www.lakelandleather.co.uk, tel 015394-44466.
