THREE people had to be rescued by fire fighters after a two-car road collision in Furness on Monday morning.
The incident happened on the A595 between Kirkby-in-Furness and Askam-in-Furness at about 10.50am, when a Renault Clio, driven by an 18-year-old Millom man, was involved in collision with a Rover 45, driven by a 55-year-old man, also from Millom.
Fire crews had to release the two drivers and Rover passenger, who all suffered whiplash injuries, using small hand tools.
