WANTED: Your mobile images, videos and photos!

We want to create a new Barrow Browser video section - with your videos. Read on to find out how to submit!

Sending Photos and Video Clips from your Mobile

From your mobile you can send us your short video clips and pictures by:
1. Simply starting the message by entering the keyword KENEWS, leave a space and then key in description of your picture or video and your name, contact details.
2. Then send it to 07834 487010 (make sure your picture or video is attached!).
We will send it to the Web Editor, whose decision about use is final.
This service is FREE ,but you may be charged at your normal mobile operator rate. Service provided by Newsquest Media Group.

Submitting Video Clips

We already post contributed videos - music, news and features - on our site. If you have a music video, contact our Barrow Browswer reporter Daniel Orr. We prefer video clips to be in QuickTime format, MP4 files, and smaller than 10 mbs. For enquiries, feel free to email the Web Editor, Kate Whiteside or phone her at 01539 710183 or 01229 588634.

Sending Photos by Email

If you have a photo of a news event you want us to look at for posting in the Public Gallery and possible use in News sections, please send it to the Web Editor in jpg format 72 pixels per inch.
Please include all your contact details and a description of the time and location of the event. Editor's decision final.

Photos, sized to 72 pixels per inch, and video clips (smaller than 2 mbs) can also be emailed to the Web Editoror sent in on CD to the Web Editor, The Westmorland Gazette, 25 Market Stree, Ulverston LA12 7LR, or dropped off at any of our offices ( Ulverston, Kendal, Lancaster).
