BOWLS players from all over the South Lakes area do battle for the Westmorland Gazette Open Pairs trophy at Netherfield Bowling Club today (Sunday).
The event brings together the best of the local crown green bowling fraternity to see which twosome can take the Gazette title.
The competition starts this morning at the Parkside Road green and runs all day, culminating in this evening's final, scheduled for approxiamately 8pm.
