KENDAL Town boss Lee Ashcroft has made the striker signing that he promised last week by securing the services of Alex Taylor from promoted Fleetwood town.
Taylor, 22, made a favourable impression when he spent a loan spell at Parkside last season before the Codmen recalled him.
He made 10 full appearances for Fleetwood last season and 16 off the bench and scored ten goals, in addition to three in his time at Town.
Championship winners fleetwood decided not to offer a contract to Taylor, who they considered was a fringe player, but Ashcroft steped in quickly to bring the forward back to Kendal.
More on town's preparations for the coming Unibond League campaign in this week's Westmorland Gazette.
